Slow Food Spotswood Farmers Market
Slow Food Melbourne's first market in the inner west, the Spotswood Market has become a much-loved monthly ritual. More than 40 stalls fill the grounds of Spotswood Primary School on the fourth Saturday of every month. Browse fresh produce, artisan bread, cheese, honey, meat, pastries, and coffee, all from local growers and small batch makers. The community comes from Williamstown, Newport, Yarraville, Seddon, and beyond. The regulars know their stallholders by name. It's what Good, Clean and Fair looks like.

After the market, Scienceworks is just five minutes up the road and a great outing for kids and adults alike. Williamstown Beach is a short drive or a scenic 20-minute walk along the foreshore. Newport's Hall Street has eateries where you can usually grab a table without a booking.
