Our Stallholders
Willow Zen
Kumi and Kelvin have worked the same patch of land in Willow Grove since 2006, out in the green folds of Gippsland. They farm by permaculture and let the seasons set the pace.
Their hens live up to the name. Three thousand ISA browns range out from mobile trailers that roll across fresh pasture, at a gentle 130 birds to the hectare. The trailers move on so the grass rests and the soil builds back richer than before. Regenerative farming and respect for the land sit behind every carton.
Always Plenty of Eggs
Supermarket egg shelves can be a lottery. At market you get a sure thing: plenty of fresh, pasture-raised eggs every time, laid by hens that spend their days out on grass under open sky.
Crack one open and the yolk tells you the rest. Stock up this Saturday and taste the difference.
Find Willow Zen at Edgewater Farmers Market on Saturday 7 November.
