LardAss Butter at a Slow Food Melbourne market

Our Stallholders

LardAss Butter

Lard Ass was founded by Monica, a dairy farmer's daughter who grew up in Western Victoria surrounded by fresh milk, hand-churned butter and a love of honest, locally produced food.

Inspired by her Italian heritage and childhood on the family farm, Monica set out to bring real flavour back to butter. Today, she crafts small-batch cultured butter using ripened cream from grass-fed cows, with every batch hand-churned, hand-kneaded and hand-wrapped to deliver exceptional flavour and texture.

Hand-Churned Cultured Butter

It's traditional butter-making at its finest - slow, careful and absolutely worth it.

Find them at our markets, stop by for a taste and discover why once you've tried cultured butter, there's no going back.

LardAss Butter isn't at our markets at the moment.
